Program Manager
Pliant Technology is seeking program manager with 10 years of technical program management experience and 3-5 years of technical development experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the transition from development through manufacturing to customer delivery
- Manage the planning and implementation of assigned program, including tracking schedules, costs, issues, and tasks
- Create requirements for each milestone in terms of resources, testing, documentation, etc.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, proposals and statement of work preparation in support of the execution of the go-to-market plan
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the program – implement monitoring systems for evaluation purposes (documented project plans) to ensure proper prioritization, progress and execution against committed timelines
- Ensure smooth, quality customer design in experience; work closely with all functional groups to overcome equipment, support and other issues as they arise
- Ensure contract fulfillment and compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Maintain adequate technical depth and managerial skills to address customer issues and resource prioritization
- Interact effectively across the engineering, sales and marketing organizations in order to achieve a timely, cost-effective and successful customer program
Skills Required:
BSEE/CS plus 10 years of technical program management experience, and 3-5 years of technical development experience. Must be able travel and operate independently with minor supervision. Must have previous experience with product development/project development in the storage industry. Must know how to do risk management and abatements. Must have experience working with remote engineering centers.
